All students in professional education licensure programs are required to complete professional disposition assessments at two points during their programs: 1) when applying to Teacher Education and 2) during Student Teaching. The dispositions language measured in these assessments are aligned with the 10 InTASC standards for teachers (http://www.ccsso.org/sites/default/files/2017-11/InTASC_Model_Core_Teaching_Standards_2011.pdf). Professional dispositions are monitored throughout the program as they comprise a vital part of your preparation to become a teacher.

The following survey is composed of 20 dispositional statements each followed by a rating scale ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree. After indicating your relative agreement or disagreement with a given statement, you will be asked to briefly explain why you responded as you did. Each of your responses will need to be explained/justified before you can move on to a subsequent statement. There are no right or wrong responses so please answer honestly. Although this survey is not anonymous, it is confidential.
